complaint of a mist / fog from a/c vent 20 minutes out on a drive . compressor dose not cycle off cooling fan cycles on / off fine . high side pressure reaches 270 on scan tool . could the a/c pressure switch be stuck in this position thanks
I did replace cabin filter and same issue

Just a thought... you might check the cabin air filter. You'll probably need to remove the glove box to get to it. I'm finding a lot of dirty cabin filters lately.

This fog can occur when the evaporator temperature is too cold. A restricted cabin filter would reduce the heat load on the core enough to simulate a low blower condition.

Also check for clogged evaporator drain. cool air acting in high humidity air causes fog. Where is the moisture coming from? Moisture get wrung from the outside air by cooling it down, it must be allowed to drain from the outlet of the evaporator,
If the evaporator is getting too cool it will ice over with a reduction in air flow as it starts, and can completely cut air flow if it cools well below the frost point.
What are vent temps when this is happening?

vent temp when fog occurs 50* 54* the compressor dose not cycle on and off but the cooling fan will

clearing the drain tube seems to fix the mist thank you but is this system compressor designed not cycle ?

GREAT. Most if really plugged will also make interior floor wet when shut down or plain drip there. If blocked and full of water when clear usually a whoosh a water comes out. That proves problem is solved for now,

Looks like this one uses a pulse width modulated ground to a variable displacement solenoid to control the compressor displacement.

Expiration isn't automatic nor can moderators just lock them as inactive. Two weeks DIYers should have all parts and fixed or gave up and sent it out.

We are all just volunteers is or was in the trade or remarkable at it. I still do most of my own (lots of cars and home) will do what I still physically can ALONE some things are just too much.

Site's slow IMO not trying to sell you a thing anything A/C in my life ends if too cold it's hard to test performance to impossible I wouldn't want to let a car go and not be as sure as possible.

Also shops I've known techs and owners fewer do the A/C part meaning vacuum and charge after they fixed a vehicle.

Winters and costly MA for space get stuff out of the way. There's more other stuff be faster to get folks going some is damage, refrigerant lost fixed the damage so now what? IF super cold a least vacuum it out and put just a positive pressure charge in tell customers come back later.

These type forums are visited mostly DIYers in some trouble and quite capable depending on their equipment or access to it.

It's nasty costly for this tools and lots of know how is really it's own trade most I know disgusted at the changes (refrigerants) and costs to keep at it.

This site once out of Phoenix a huge difference in demand.
